Interestingly, Tylenol (the clear branded leader) leads the pack in comparative claims.  The brand was built (rather misleadingly in this man&amp;#39;s view) on bashing Aspirin...and even today the vast majority of the copy contains a competitive reference to somebody.  My sense is that challenger brands do better with this strategy than the market leader.
